What kind of business do you accept? We accept all types of business from retail to trade show to mail order to high risk business. Whether you process from home, on the internet or in an office we can set you up with a merchant account.
What do I need to accept credit cards at my business? You don't need anything special, just something to process the transaction on. We can set you up to process on any number of credit card terminals, e-commerce gateways, or even your telephone can capture a credit card transaction.
What is a discount rate? A discount rate is the percentage rate that a bank/processor charges to authorize and capture the credit card transaction. Our discount rates are extraordinarily low for all business types.
What is AVS? (Address Verification Service) AVS (Address Verification Service) is a fraud detection feature to help the merchant on mail order/ telephone order/ e-commerce transactions. This system lets you enter the customers billing address to make sure that it matches the address on file, therefore helping eliminate fraudulent transactions.
I do not have good credit will I still get accepted? National Merchant Services has an approval rate of over 98%. If for some strange reason you do get declined we will refund any fees that you have paid to start accepting credit cards, so you have no financial risk.
How can I view my account activity? First of all every merchant is mailed a monthly statement that you should receive between the 7th and 12th of each month detailing the previous month's activities. Second you can print a daily batch report from your terminal showing all of your credit card and check transactions. Third you can view you statements online, and last you can call customer service to have them print and fax a detailed batch history if necessary.
How do I get support? All of our programs offer 24/7 support. You can find your support phone number by looking on your merchant statement.
How do I apply? Just fill out our free, no cost, no obligation, online merchant account application. We will contact you with in 24 business hours to go over which program you have qualified for. We will be more than happy to answer any questions that you might have.
How long does it take to get approved? Once we have received all of the necessary paperwork most accounts are approved within 48-72 business hours. Once your business is approved you will be informed by us as well as receive a welcome kit and terminal/software (if applicable).
When will I get my money in my account? Money will be deposit into your account in approximately 24-48 hours after you batch your terminal. Banking holidays will add an extra day to the deposit time. If you are a high risk account deposit time may take slightly longer.
